In the 1960s Judy Folkmanis started handcrafting puppets to entertain her children but soon started getting requests from other parents in their USA hometown. In 1976, her husband joined her and they started Folkmanis Puppets. The company believes that imagination is the key to a healthy childhood. With this in mind, they focus their designs on innovative high-quality puppets that introduce children to the natural world around them.
